In Praise of Electric Razors

Brian has reached his weight goal - he tells me that he has lost 22lbs in the past 3 weeks.  Melanie has said that when he returns she'll relax her vigilance on tremocos and popcorn, but he is NOT to touch the peanut butter.

Apparently there was so much blood the first time the nurses shaved him that he has decided on the bearded look until he is able to do it himself (I hope he takes a picture first), although the nurses keep offering.  Now, if he had succumbed to the family pressure to 'go electric' last year, this would not be a problem - surely even the nurses could handle that?

The physiotherapist says that he is making good progress - yesterday he tackled stairs with her for the first time.
